The motion was <br /> seconded by Selectman Jacobson , VOTE: Unanimous. S-o. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> Appointment of Fart-Time Program Supervisor:. <br /> Dean Driscoll was present to request the appointment of a <br /> part-time program supervisor for the Leisure Services <br /> Department * Mr. Driscoll indicates that the position was <br /> approved at Town Meeting as full timef but is not currently <br /> funded as such. <br /> This is a right hand man type of position relates <br /> Mr. Driscoll , The Leisure Services Department has grown and <br /> there is a definite -need explains Mr . Driscoll . <br /> Mr. Driscoll anticipates -to return with an accurate <br /> assessment of program participation -numbers in a few weeks. <br /> Selectman Costa made mote of the correct procedure as per <br /> the policy of- the Board of S.electmen when -hiring for a new <br /> position. <br /> Mr. Driscoll indicates that eleven resumes or -applications <br /> were received by the Personnel Department. Four were chosen to <br /> e reviewed, Of the four , two attended the interview process <br /> with the Personnel Board and attendance of Ir. Driscoll . <br /> Mr. Driscoll relates that the candidate selected had the <br /> most desirable attributes. <br />
