BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page l <br />MINUTES <br />MND rMARCH 11 199 <br />- - - - i9 Pggglq 19�Pi9 ii+I- <br />f <br />9:50 p.m. OLD BUSINESS <br />Keeter Pro ert Discussion: <br />*The Board is in agreement to submit a letter of appreciation <br />to Attorney Morse for her work related to the Judgement of Land <br />Court granting the Town of Mashpee Summary Judgement relative to <br />the ownership of the Aaron Keeter parcel of land. <br />It was noted that Kopelman and Paige is currently reviewing <br />the ownership of the Nicholas Keeter parcel. <br />confidential Memo Discussion: <br />Correspondence was received from Kopelman and Paige dated <br />February 4, 1993 with regards to a confidential Police Department <br />memo that was distributed by the David Hendricks Committee for <br />Human Rights "not through official channels". <br />Selectman caffyn related concern that the full Board of <br />Selectmen were not informed of the confidential memo. She <br />indicated that two members of the Board of Selectmen were aware <br />of the memo and should have obtained an interpretation from the <br />Police Department or Executive Secretary and input from the full <br />Board. <br />s Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, Selectman cafyn <br />indicated that she has requested all material received be copied <br />for the entire Board. For the record she noted that she has <br />never requested any Police coverage for Board Meetings. <br />*In the future, the Board is in agreement to notify and have <br />input from the entire Board of Selectmen if decisions are to be <br />rendered. <br />diournment :: <br />***The motion was made by selectman costa to adjourn at 1 :0 <br />P.M. The Board will enter into Executive session at this time <br />for the purpose of discussing contract negotiations, <br />administration of labor agreements and to correct Executive <br />Session minutes.
