BOARD OF SELECTMENPage MINUTE WEDNE DA , APRIL 7r1993- - - John Ferguson Night at the Bo *Selectman vaooaro stepped down for the discussion. Mr. Ferguson was not present to discuss the permit application of the Mashpee Concert Committee to sell beer,, wane and champagne at the second annual Mashpee Night At The Pops on July 31, 1993 on the grounds of the Mashpee Commons to raise monies for the Mashpee Performing Arts Center. **The motion was made -by Selectman Costa to approve the permit application as requested by the Mashpee Concert Committee, The notion was seconded by Selectman Mills, VOTE: Unanimous. 3- . ODD BUSINESS Appointment of Cemetery Commission Members: *Selectman Mills stepped down for this discussion. Mr. Whriten ur indicated that an acceptable opinion without conflict was rendered by Attorney ►iarder relative to an elected paid Burial Agent serving as an appointed unpaid Cemetery Commissioner. Mr. Whri enour indicated that the Cemetery Commission is a three member er committee with three year terms to expire on; 6/30/93 - 39 - 9, **The motion was made by Selectman Costa to appoint William Mills to the Cemetery Commission for a term to expire;. /39. The motion was seconded by Selectman vaocaro. VOTE: Unanimous. -o . *The motion was made ] y , electma►n Costa to appoint Leigh N. Potter to the Cemetery Commission for a term to expire; 39 . The motion was seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. VOTE: Unanimous. 3 -o . *-Selectman Mills returned. Letter from Diane Cloutier re; Extension of Closure; . Cloutier indicated that Davie's Docker of New Bedford is currently negotiating the purchase -of Cafe 130. She requested the Board approve an extension of her lioens'e to allo.for the upgrade of the septic system, kitchen and allow for minor renovations until May 31,, 19938 *The notion was made by Selectman Costa to arrant the extension as requested until May 31, 1993, The motion was seconded by Selectman vaccaro. VOTE: Unanimous. -o.
