VOTE: Unanimous. -00 <br />Four New En nd Telephone Petitions for approves <br />Mr. Whritenour indicated that a public hearing was conducted <br />on April le 1993, Greg Taylor, Director of Public Works was <br />present and is in support of the four petitions. <br />**The motion was made by Selectman Costa to approve of the New <br />England Telephone. Petition #93-507 as presented. The motion was <br />seconded by Selectman Mills. The motion was <br />seconded by Selectman Mills, VOTE: Unanimous., 3 -0 . <br />Uer Cape Consortium Proposal; <br />Selectman Caffyn presented a memo to the Board dated April <br />9, 1993 relative to an Upper Cape,Town Consortium Proposal, <br />Mashpee, Falmouth, Sandwich and Bourne face similar problems that <br />could be better addressed by using a "consortium" approach <br />informed Selectman Caffyn. <br />Selectman Caffyn recommended to fora a steering committee to <br />discuss the consortium proposal. Mro Whritenour concurs with <br />Selectman Caf yn f s recommendation. <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Costa to approve of the Upper <br />Cape Towns Consortium Proposal as presented.
