BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page MINUTES MO DA , JUKE 28, 199 Public Hearing: Flea Market Bazaar Guidelines: Selectman Jacobson indicated that the formula must be resolved, but not during mid -stream* she asked Mr. Marandola to not charge a fee for parking at this time. Selectman cfyn recommended to review the revenue o parking vehicles. The Town could possibly obtain a percentage of the parking revenue. Mr. Maranola indicated that he has parking for to vehicles. At this time, he does not know the revenue factors of the parking facility. Mr. Maranola noted that during unfavorable weather conditions, -he would not produce substantial revenue from parking. Mr. Marandola has agreed to not charge for parking at this time. He has indicated that he will address the special Permit issue with the Zoning Board of Appeals. 8:03 p.m. Request of ce cod orbor: Bruce Bennett of cape Cod orbotron was present to request permission to operate an exercise machine known as the "orbotron" 49 for a fee at the Dick and Elbe's Flea Market during the 199 season. Mr. Bennett indicated that he has a 1 million dollar liability policy covering the orbotron. The machine was invented s an exercise machine without electricity noted Mr. Bennett. It is a fun machine. r. Bennett indicated that he has owned the machine for approximately one year. He would like to promote the machine for private parties. Mr. Bennett noted that he has brought the machine to many Cape festivals, A fee of $3.00 is charged per -two minute ride. Mr. Bennett It that he currently pays the state Transient Users Fee. Selectman Jacobson noted that the application was denied last year with a different applicant. Being no further comment, selectman vaccaro closed the Public Hearing. **The motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the permit as requested from Bruce Bennett /b Cape cod orbotron for the 1993 season. The motion was seconded by selectman vaccro. VOTE: Favorable, -l. selectman Mills iS in opposition.
