i <br />* BOARD of SELECTMEN Page l <br />MINUTES <br />MODA , JULY 1 , 1993 <br />APPROVAL of MINUTES <br />June 2, 1993 Executive Session: <br />*The motion was grade by Selectman Mills to approve the <br />Executive Session minutes of Tune 29, 1993 as presented. The <br />motion was seconded by Selectman Costa. VOT : Unanimous, - . <br />9:03 p.m. COMMUNICATIONS AND CORRESPONDENCE: <br />Communication from Jack Burke re: U,S. Trust Buildin <br />Jack Burke, the new owner of the U.S, Trust building and <br />his agent, George Benway were present to discuss the possible use <br />of the building for some Town office -space, Mr, Burke noted that <br />some of the building will be rented to other entities. <br />Selectman Costa and Al Poli will review the site as <br />possible Town office space and return to the Board with their <br />recommendation* <br />Cape Cod Consortium Meeting: August 6f 1993 <br />Commanders Office - Otis AFB <br />Agenda Item: July 26, 1993 Community Garden <br />0 <br />as Beaut i f i oat i on ouo 1 : �electnar� oaf fyn reported <br />that the Beautification Council completed its first landscaping <br />project at Heritage Park. Selectman Caffyn expressed thanks to <br />Mr, and Mrs, Watt and their faun i l , Brad Caffynt Ed Burhack and <br />the citizens of Mashpee -who participated in the project* <br />Status of John's Pond; <br />Selectman CaffYn recommended the Board consider posting <br />information relative to cancerous tumors detected In fish located <br />in John's Pond. <br />{ <br />It is the agreement of -the Board to consult the Board of <br />Health relative to the above. This item will be a future agenda <br />topic of discussion to include applicable parties. <br />Sidewalks/Bikeways: <br />Selectman Caffyn recommended to submit a letter to <br />Representative Cahir with rewards to proposing a continuation of <br />bikeways/walkways into Mahpee and Falmouth. <br />0 <br />
