Draft #2- 8393 <br />applies as a definition for single family detached' dwelling in 174-2 - 1, or take any action related <br />thereto. <br />Submitted by the Building Inspector <br />Article 42: <br />Mt <br />To see if the Town Mfill vote to amend the language of the next -to -last sentence of section I <br />of Chapter 173 of the Mashpee Code to read: <br />The Co mission is authofi zed to adopt rules and regulations govern�ng the use of land and <br />waters under its control for the protection, promotion and development of water supply, <br />groundwater, flood control, erosion and sedimentation control, for the prevention of water <br />pollution, for the protection and -preservation of fisheries, shellfish, recreational values, wildlife <br />and wildlife habitat and for the providing of open spaces in land ' and water areas and for aril other <br />poses as provided MGL C. 40, section 8c. <br />or take any action relating thereto. <br />Subnn�tted by the Conservation Commission <br />Article 43: <br />To see if the town will vote to mend section 1 of Chapter 172 of the Ma hpee Code to <br />read: <br />The purpose. of this Chapter is to protect the wetlands, related water resources and <br />adjoining land areas in this municipality by prior review and control of activities deemed by the <br />Conservation Commission likely to have significant or cumulative effect upon wetland values, <br />including but -not lir ted to the following: public or private water supply, groundwater, flood <br />control, erosion and sedimentation control, storm . damage prevention, the prevention of water <br />Pollution, fisheries, shellfish, wildlife habitat, recreation, agriculture and auaculture values <br />(collectively,, fie wetland values protected by this chapter." <br />r take any action relating hereto. <br />Submitted by the Conservation Commission <br />Article 44: <br />To see if the (Town will vote to place the following parcels of Town -owned land under the <br />care, custody, management and control of the Conservation Commission and to designate -said <br />parcels as conservation land for all purposes included in Chapter 40, Section 8C of the General' <br />Laws as it now reads or may hereafter be amended: (Parcels numbered by 1993 Assessors' Map <br />and Block number) 21-79, 2.24 acres east of South Sandwich Road and Fox Hill load, b) 50- <br />27, 4.3 acres east of Payamps Road near Johns Pond Park, c) 53-4, 8.4 acres between <br />Meetinghouse and Noisy Foie loads adjacent to existing Town conservation lands, excepting that <br />land within 30 feet of the center line of Noisy Dole load, -, .87 acres on the Santuit liver <br />adjacent to the willowbend Country CIO just south of route 28, a that portion of 7 -17 sough of <br />the Commonwealth Electric Company power line easement, consisting of approximately 25 acres <br />on the east side of Turner load adjacent to conservation lands owned by the Commonwealth of <br />
