Lieutenant Kevin <br />Long. <br />Chief Baker has requested the Board of Selectmen set <br />Lieiten nt Longs salary at step II of the Lieutenant's pay 4 <br />schedule. As noted in the memo, an inequity has occurred in <br />compensation of the newly promoted Long as a result of collective <br />bargaining language. <br />***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to set the salary of <br />Lieutenant Kevin Long. to step II of the Lieutenant's pay schedule <br />as recommended, The motion was seconded by selectman Costa, <br />VOTE: Unanimous. - . selectman Caffyn absent. <br />Sick Bank Memorandum of Agreement for DPW Contract <br />Employe...,. <br />Greg Taylor, the Director of Public Works submitted a <br />revised Memorandum of Agreement relative to the sick Bank <br />covering employee's of the Department of Public Works, <br />s revised, once the- tota-1 contribution of sick leave <br />reaches 125 days, employee contributions shall be suspended. If <br />the bank falls below 125 days, all employees shall contribute one <br />day each the following July 1. <br />**The motion was made by Selectman Mills to approve the <br />revised Memorandum of Agreement f r the sick Bank covering <br />employees at the DPW, custodian at the Town Hall and the Police <br />Station as recommended, The motion was seconded by selectman <br />Costa, NOTE: Unanimous. -o. selectman caffyn absent. <br />6:52 p.m. recess :oo p,m, Meeting Resumed <br />PUBLIC DISCUSSION: <br />Bill Zammer asked as to why Mashpee has the highest debt <br />service per capitata spending in fiscal year 1992. It was noted <br />that an article appeared in the cape Cod Tunes relative to this <br />concern. Mashpee rated number one with fixed costs of 2.0 <br />Mr. Zammer recommended to address the .article for <br />informational purposes., <br />r� <br />u <br />
