Selectman Caf fyn absent. **Roll Call Vote: Judy, yes George, yes 7:15 p.m. PUBLIC HEARING Sunday Openings for _Hol ion, , Carol, yes Jim, yes Nancy, absent Selectman Vaccaro opened the Public Hearing on the issue of Sunday Openings for all packages stores beginning the Sunday before Thanksgiving and each Sunday thereafter until New Year Day. Brim Anderson, 'owner of Andy's Market was present to request the Board's approval for Sunday Ope-nings of all package stores in Mashpee as approved last year,. Mr, Anderson requested the Board approve the Sunday openings for ' the above time period as a Condition of the license, It becomes a Confusing issue to the Consumer when many surrounding towns Comply with the Sunday openings noted Mr. Anderson, Marie Soalley voiced opposition to the proposed Sunday Openings. Sunday is a family day and a day of rest related Ms. SCalley. Liquor does not belong with Sunday sales. Liquor Warehouse representative Fred Blythe indicated that many establishments in Mashpee are not complying with the Town bylaws. For this reason, the establishments not in Compliance should not be allowed to open on Sundays. r, Whritenour strongly recommended to make the violations known to the Board of Selectmen in written Complaint. The Board of. Selectmen and Building Inspector will submit written response to this Concern indicated Mr, Whritenour. Being no further comment, Selectman Vaccaro Closed the Public Hearing at 7:28 p.m.
