BOARD OF SELECTMEN Page 3 <br />MINUTES <br />40 MONDAY, DECEM$ER 20, 1993 _ <br />NEW BUSINESS: <br />School Building Committee lnvoi es: <br />n invoice was received from Michael Pietrows i dated <br />December llh and loth for Audio Visual Services related to the <br />filming of two High School Building committee meetings. <br />*The motion was made by Selectman Caffyn to approve the <br />invoices as submitted by Mr, Pietrows i for Audio Visual Services <br />related to meetings of the High School Building committee. The <br />motion was seconded by Selectman Mills. VOTE: Unanimous. -0. <br />Selectman costa absent. <br />:o p.m. Sally Marne - CaRe cod Center for Women Inc.; <br />Sally Marne ► Treasurer of the cape cod Center for -Women was <br />present to discuss a proposal relative to the development of <br />shelter services and transitional programs for battered women in <br />the cape area. <br />Pilrim's Pride is currently being reviewed as a future <br />facility indicated Ms. Marney. The site is envisioned as <br />temporary housing for battered women. Our aim is to work with <br />Educational Reform to provide assistance noted Ms. Marney. <br />Mr. Whritenour read aloud a draft letter in support of the <br />proposed Center for Women dated December 2, 1. <br />**The motion was made by Selectman Jacobson to endorse -the <br />letter as drafted by Mr. Whriten ur in support of the Cape cod <br />Center for Women, Inc. The motion was seconded by Selectman <br />caffyn. VOTE; Unanimous. -. Selectman costa absent. <br />Jr/Sr High School Building Committee Update: <br />***The motion was made by Selectman Mills to place the <br />discussion of the Jr/Sr HighSchool-Building Committee on the <br />Selectmen's agenda. The motion was seconded by Selectman <br />caffyn. VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. Selectman Costa absent. <br />Peter Dini io was present to update the Selectmen on the <br />current activities of theJr/Sr High School Building committees <br />Of the five architectural firms interviewed, the Jr/Sr High <br />School Building Committee has selected three finalists. In no <br />particular order, they are; Earle Elansbuh Associates, Drueyr <br />osane and Anderson and Keyes Associates. <br />0 <br />
