MINBB OF THE MASHPEE PERSONNEL BOARD MEETING <br /> Line 18, 1979 <br /> This meeting was called to order by Wilma Graham, Acting Chairman at <br /> 7:30 p wme Present were John Peters and David Niven of the Personnel <br /> Board. Also present were: Mitchell Ew er , Jr., Joan Muse, and Chief <br /> Gregory Willis, Mashpee Fire Department. <br /> Police officer Mitchell Swierz,, Jrsane with this Board t0- -'discuss <br /> being given additional compensation on for those courses completed toward <br /> a degree in criminal Justice. Patrolman presented documentation, <br /> therefore the Personnel Board approved his request for credits earnede <br /> letter will be sent to the Chief and Town Accountant. <br /> The Board approved and forwarded recommendation on Mro Jeremy Carter, <br /> r. Douglas Flynn, and Mr. Gerald Umina as Special Police to the <br /> Board of Be lec txen. <br /> This Board as also voted that Special Police Officer Judith Scott be <br /> given an interim appointment as Secretary/Dispatcher, without benefits, <br /> to replace Dors Hendricks while she is on a leave of absence. <br /> A I mo was received from B. Jean Thomas resigning from the Mashpee <br /> Employee Bargaining Committee. <br /> A letter was received from the Board of Selectmen reappointing <br /> Karen Ann Hale, Secretary to the Personnel Board for another year. <br /> Chief o t Connor, Police Depart rent, seat copies of two discipline <br /> letters on Patrolman Reoert Colyer,. <br /> Chief Willis, Mashpee Fire Department, met with the Board to discuss <br /> some of the items of the newly negotiated Fire Contract. The Chief <br /> and members of this Board reviewed the application stetted for <br /> the positions of firefighter.
