The Board will submit to the Finance Committee by February <br /> Ist of each year , a list of present salaries or wages for <br /> all employees, and a corresponding list of changes in status <br /> and salaries for the next fiscal year. <br /> . Department Heads shall submit to the Board annually, prior <br /> to January 1st of each year , and any time upon request, a <br /> Performance Appraisal for employees of his Department with <br /> recommendations as to salaries for the next fiscal year. <br /> Step increases are not automatic and are to be based upon an <br /> employee' s performance during the prior twelve 12 month <br /> period. An evaluation for new employees shall be done every <br /> six months for the first two years of employment. <br /> Iv. SCOPE of THE FLAN <br /> All positions in the Town are subject to the Plan with the ex- <br /> ception <br /> -ception of and excluding the following: all elected officials, <br /> those in the School Department and those covered under collective <br /> bargaining agreements. The position of Health Agent shall be <br /> appointed by the Board of Health who will recommend the salary <br />' for the position but the position, otherwise, is subject to the <br /> Plan. Employees who work in positions rewiring less than twenty <br /> (20) hours per week shall not receive fringe benefits under the <br /> Plan, but their salary or wages sha.11 ,be set in accordance with <br /> the provisions of the plan. <br />
