r <br /> AUTHORIZATION <br /> This Personnel Administration Paan is established and amended pursuant to <br /> the provisions of section 108A and 108C of Chapter 41 of the General Laws. The <br /> Town appointed a Personnel Board to: {1 ) Classify Positions in the service of <br /> the Town. To authorize compensation for the positions in the classification <br /> plan. o provide for administration of the Plan. To establish working <br /> conditions and fringe benefits for the employees occupying positions in the Plan. <br /> I I. DEFINITIONS <br /> As used in, this Plan, the following words have the following meanings: <br /> Board -- the Personnel Board <br /> Employee #- an employee subject to the Personnel Administration Plan <br /> RegularFull--Tine Employee - ars employee whoworks thirty-five ) <br /> hours per week <br /> Regular Part- Time Employees - an employee who works t rent 0 yours <br /> or more per week <br /> Plan - the Personnel Administration Pian <br /> Town - the Town of Mashpee <br /> T <br /> FUNCTIONS AND ORGANIZATION o THE PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> 1 . The Board shall consist of five registered voters, appointed by <br /> the Board of Selectmen: the first terms of office of such members shall be for one <br /> year, two for two years, two for three years, and thereafter, succeeding appointment <br /> to be for three years. <br /> 2. The Board shall annually elect a Chairman and appoint a Clerk.. A majority <br /> of the Bard shall constitute a quorum and ariaJority of a quorum shall determine the <br /> action to be taken by the ward on all ratters concerning the administration of the <br /> Plan. The Board shall meet as often as necessary to discharge its respo sibiIIties. <br />
