r� <br /> M <br /> RESUME OF SELECTMEN'S MEETING <br /> DATE: 10 March 1955 <br /> The Board convened at approximately X00 Pel. <br /> Regular bills with the addition of bills incurred b <br /> the Annual Town' Meeting were examined and signed for the <br /> Town A cc o ut ant, <br /> Wilbur vale , representing the American Legion Post <br /> 262, came to renew lease which,,hasp in the past authorized <br /> the organization concession to snackbar and ran of the <br /> kitchen. He -was infoxmed that it is illegal for tie .Tom <br /> to ,lease any portion of the building to any particular <br /> Town organization. This .nfo ration was given to the- <br /> previous board by Mr. Westhaver when it was disclosed that <br /> the Coke Machine revenue was not credited to the town' s <br /> account. -It was further dis l sed that the Legion was <br /> sub�l as it g smack bar & use of kitchemo 'Begin supplied <br /> gas and other equipment) * It was stated that the Town <br /> Hale Faust be in receipt of all rentals which will only be <br /> chargeable to out of town organizations* However, all <br /> town organizations will be privileged to use the . iall, <br /> snack bar, and kitchen, henever there is no previous <br /> engagement of facilities*' The o Hall will provide gas. <br /> A letter t this effect eras '.written to the o=ander, <br /> American Legion stating alio than the last installation <br /> of 'ga6 will bei billed t6 the town building Maintenance <br /> fund . A file on Legion matter was opened* <br /> letter was presented by the Tax collector in regard <br /> to tax title property which therformer owner wishes to <br /> redeem, Due to the fact that it is low valuation land <br /> (book value about $24.00) the board agreed that since the <br /> fo ren er owner Mr. Fogg of NHwishes to resume owner ship <br /> Mrs. Mills should be instructed to bill him for back taxes, <br /> interest and expenses,, Instructions were written for <br /> Mrs. Mil s t action. <br /> Quastion was raised as to when Warrant Would be <br /> forwarded to AdvisoryCommission for reviewing. Mr. Hicks <br /> advised other me' mbe' rs of board that the Public Steno would <br /> have her notes completed b Saturday., 12 Mar -55 and all <br /> pertinent matter would be' forwarded to the commission. t <br /> was further stated that r* Westhaver usually informed the <br /> board as to the date designated by the Commission for a <br /> .. heari. g. on articles of the Warrant,, <br /> Sunday Erite, taixent Permit i-ssu ed Sart uit Park Lunclg., <br /> lhb. for period 6 Mar thru 25 -D-ee, 55 ('329' 00 Sate & $4,aOO <br /> Municipal) .
