As it was a first offense in town youth was <br /> reprimanded severely but warned that as susp ension would i <br /> b.e in the offing on next offense. <br /> Further discussion on traffic e prblem in towno- It was <br /> agreed that a 61oser patrol 's warranted during the summer <br /> months and due to increase of personnel at Otis AFB. <br /> Letter dated 28 Uune 55 received from Richard W. Burton <br /> requesting authorization for Quohaug expenditure ( seed ) * <br /> Due to complaints .rec-eived against PatraUan Carter in <br /> regard to his fun-ction and carriage as a Police officer <br /> for the Town of Ma hpee and from observation of the Board <br /> of selectmen, it was decided that Mr. Hicks ; Actg Chief would �d <br /> discuss the situation with Mra Carter ire ,hopes that the <br /> personal approach will `rmed4 the situation. However) if <br /> same condition continues to exist , it. .may be necessary t <br /> suspend Mr. Carter for a period of time. <br /> w <br /> Letter rec ?d from Cape Cod Chamber of Commerc=e informing <br /> board of ax tic at ed legislation wlich will authorize the <br /> state to spend 100.000o for aerial spraying of Cape Cod. <br /> Each town will supplement state activity in the amount of <br /> $500900* <br /> L ter for ABC 46knowledging receipt of action taken on <br /> illtpp Lodge .
