Wilsoh (Welfare Agent) met with the Board to discuss felfare Program <br /> and problems* He informed Board of action taken in the case of Myron Hendricks <br /> (ADC so incapaci.tAted parent whereby the sum of 478. will be taken from ADC <br /> funds to clear an indebtedness which the family incurred prior to Mr. Hendricks <br /> illness. The action' met with unanimous approval of the Board. Mr.. Wilson also <br /> told the board of his attempt to find a registered nursing home for Mrs. Flossie <br /> Green and Mar. Lloyd Pe is who are presstly at Pocassett Sanitcrium. Mr. Wilson <br /> was informed of Edgard Tavarest nursing home which could accommodate firs. Green <br /> at present. This will mean a savings of. approximtely $150. per month for <br /> OAA Account# Mrs. Hendricks has also informed lir. Wilson of her intention to <br /> resign from Welfare Dept. The official resignation bas not been submitted as <br /> yet. In the event here is no one locally who can qualify for the position <br /> the possibility of a Welfare are District is contemplated. This will mean that <br /> Mas tepee will share the expense of a Social Worker with some ad o ning t v . *4 <br /> Wilson will investigate this possibility. The board discouraged the hiring <br /> of a non4►r*esident to replace Mrs* Hendricks due to community resentment* <br /> + r . <br /> letter of res traint was written to Mrs. Thura Pnett.Her dog was reported <br /> to haven bitten a person. <br /> Miss Peters informed the board of the proposed visit of a representative <br /> from the Division of Planning who will assist in organizing zoning reg ulatio iso <br /> The importance of having the committee organized when the representative aarrives p <br /> was stressed. To date the following persons have made requests for appointment <br /> to cottee* r, Robert Johnson (verbal); Mrs. Clara J. Peters (Letter); <br /> Mr. Minor Pedersen (verbal); and Mrs. Amelia Studley (Verbal). <br /> Mr. I erne th Coombs (Park Commissioner) called t hi svening to inform board <br /> of plans for ] ashpee lake and to get the approval of hoard to start enforcing <br /> reg tionse To date the Commissioners have had stickers made for residents <br /> with no charge. Vacationers may purchase a sticker for 250 to be used during their <br /> vection period. Transients will be charged 500 for one day par g privileges. <br /> The board favored starting the beach program this weekneen <br /> The chapter 90 contract was received and signed by the board* The deadline <br /> for completion for authorized work is set for 30 Nov 55* . <br /> Letter reetd from Marine Fisheries informing board that quohaugs "w�oi d <br /> be ready for delivery in two or three weeks. <br /> The Shellfish Warden requested certified copy of Shellfish Regulations in � <br /> order that he may penalize' offenders.
