To rn.. oJ'1 laslipee <br /> r�s,.r ass <br /> r <br /> rasher , �lctssaclaicsett (1„'Gc1 <br /> MASHPEE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION FOR A WRITTEN FINDING <br /> FINDING-2018-29 <br /> Michael Piniewski and Bk: #14722 <br /> Louise McDevitt Page. #93 <br /> 3 Treasure Lane <br /> (Map 90 Parcel 66) <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was filed on by May 14, 2018 by Owners,Michael Piniewski and Louise <br /> McDevitt requesting a Written Finding under §174-17 of the Zoning Bylaws to allow for <br /> construction of an enclosed deck addition on property located in an R-3 Zoning District, <br /> Map 90 Parcel 66, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on June 1, 2018 and June 8, 2018 a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §6 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at which time the following members of the Board of Appeals <br /> were present; Chairman, Jonathan Furbush, Vice Chairman, William Blaisdell, Board <br /> Members, Ron Bonvie, and Scott Goldstein, and Associate Members, Brad Pittsley and <br /> Sharon Sangeleer, Also present was Building Commissioner, Michael Mendoza. <br /> Mr. Mike Piniewski represented himself for the home improvement project. He <br /> wants to construct an enclosed deck with windows and insulation. He mentioned it will be <br /> built on 6 x 6 posts, and it's a little over 10 ft. deep and 16 ft. wide. It will be located on <br /> the west side of the house and will be unheated. <br /> Mr. Piniewski said the dimension of the home is 32' x 24', 768 ft. The shed is 8' x <br /> 12', the front deck is 14' x 8', and the proposed addition is 10.75' x 16'. The lot size is <br /> 10,248 sq. ft. <br /> The Board had a discussion regarding the lot coverage and assisted the applicant to <br /> determine the existing and proposed lot coverage. The Board calculated 9.77% which is <br /> well under the allowed 20% maximum lot coverage. <br /> 1 <br />
