Merlin, Trustee Bk.: #26081 <br /> 18 Quaker Run Road Pg.: #346 <br /> (Map 83 Parcel 212) <br /> Mashpce, MA 02649 <br /> A Petition was.filed on November 6, 2017 by requesting a Special Permit under <br /> §174-25 (1) (9) of the Zoning Bylaws to maintain a dock ramp, and float complex which <br /> extends across a total of more than 70' feet of coastal wetland resource areas on property <br /> located in an R-3 Zoning District, Map 83 Parcel 212, Mashpee, MA. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A.Notice was given by publication in The Mashpee Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, on December 15, 2017 and December 22, <br /> 2017 a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> The Mashpee Zoning Board of Appeals issues this Decision pursuant to the <br /> provisions of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A §9 and the Town of Mashpee <br /> Zoning By-laws. <br /> Public Hearings were held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout; Chairman,Jonathan Furbush,Vice Chairman; <br /> William Blaisdell, Board Member, Dom DeBarros and Associate Members, Norman J. <br /> Gould and Sharon Sangeleer. Also present was Building Commissioner, Michael <br /> Mendoza. <br /> Mr. Peter Merlin represented himself for the proposed dock project. He said he <br /> received an amended order of conditions from the Conservation Commission. The float <br /> will be turned around 90 degrees and will conform to the current standards. The size will <br /> remain the same, and it is just being rebuilt. <br /> The Board read the required comments from the Town departments into the record. <br /> There were no issues. <br /> There were no abutters present.
