Mr. Tobey feels he should be allowed
to replace something of the same size (281L & 81 W) , taking
in consideration a bath and porch was also attached. He also
feels there has been no response to his letters nor any
response from the Board of Appeals .
He is considering building on the present foundation a
modular home . In the meantime he would need a place to
stay; hence a camper or trailer.
Selectman Peters suggested perhaps a permit issued six
months at a time would be helpful .
The Board reminded Mr. Tobey of the many letters , some of
which date back to 1970, stating the dangerous and unsafe
condition of this building and the zoning by-laws which
provided replacement of damaged building within twelve
months . : . The Board also stated their hands were tied, and
his only recourse would be to meet with the Appeals Board
and state his case.
