,r <br /> Minutes of the Selectmen' s Meeting <br /> Wednesday, July 24, 1974 <br /> All Selectmen and Town Counsel present. <br /> l) Pat Harrington representative, of the Bicentennial Commission <br /> met with Selectmen to discuss the possibility of creating a <br /> Commission in Mashpee . This would consist of nine members , <br /> appointed by the Selectmen from all walks of like . <br /> The Board was very interested in such a Commission. News <br /> of this wll be published in both Cape papers . Any interested <br /> parties are asked to contact the Selectmen's office. <br /> 2) Crow' s Nest hearing held in the lobby of the Mashpee <br /> Town Mall . All Selectmen. present . William Tritt <br /> represented himself. Mr. Tritt was questioned if he is <br /> a U. S : citizen. This was confirmed by Mr. Tritt, but stated <br /> his wife and children are Canadian citizens . <br /> With none opposing, the hearing adjourned at 8: 15 p.m. <br /> 3) Larry Dove met with Selectmen concerning a personal matter . <br /> 4) Police Chief Bingham stated other then some heavier traffic, <br /> he could see no adverse reactions concerning the 2 : 00 A.M. <br /> closing in Mashpee for license holders under Chapter 138. <br /> 5) Daniel Dunham Dog Officer for the Town of Mashpee met <br /> with Selectmen concerning a personal matter. <br /> Notes : <br /> W.V.L.C. lower Cape radio station (Mary L. Hunter News Editor) <br /> will attend meetings from time to time to report news items <br /> of interest. <br /> Sunday permit (8-12 Noon) , issued to Christy' s Market enabling <br /> the operation of business . (This will not superceed any State <br /> Regulations) . <br /> Contract signed by the Board for Joseph Bodio of Auburdale , <br /> Mass . , to complete the necessary site work for the mucnicipal <br /> buildings . <br /> Regsignations received from Charles Cuthbert , member of the <br /> Personnel Board and Jose-ph Delaney member of the Planning <br /> Board . Both due to ill health. <br />
