Taylor <br /> Meeting Called to Order by Chairman Sherman at 6:30 p.m. <br /> Mashpee Town Hall, Waquoit Meeting Room <br /> MINUTES <br /> Monday, July 9, 2018 Regular Session: <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cotton to approve the Regular Session minutes of Monday, <br /> July 9, 2018 as presented. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Roll Cali Vote: <br /> Selectman Sherman,yes Selectman Cahalane,yes Selectman Gottlieb,yes <br /> Selectman Cotton,yes Opposed, none <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> Public Comment: <br /> Mashpee Historical Commission members Brian Hyde, Ava Costello, Rosemary Burns Love, and <br /> Richard DeSorgher were in attendance to announce that 25 years has passed since the 125th anniversary <br /> of the Town of Mashpee in 1995. In looking forward to the 150`h anniversary of the Town of Mashpee <br /> the Board of Selectmen was asked to provide input into the commemoration process. <br /> The Historical Commission is also working on the Revolutionary War Monument project and is <br /> in the planning stage of phase 11 to recognize Mashpec Veterans from all wars. In the visioning process it <br /> is hopeful the monument project would be complete to serve as a centerpiece at the 150th anniversary <br /> ceremony in 2020. <br /> In other business, Gail Coyne, Chief Fiscal Manager of the Cape Cod Commission invited the Board of <br /> Selectmen to attend the Annual One Cape Summit scheduled to be held on August 16th and 17th at the <br /> Wequassett Resort in Harwich. Jay Ash, Secretary of Housing and Economic Development is a <br /> scheduled speaker. Topics of discussion include Regional Water Quality, Coastal Resilience and <br /> Economy and Community Resilience. <br />
