Commanders ' Ball, <br /> Selectman O' Connell suggested the end of April in order to <br /> give him time to turn on the utilities. So he it. <br /> 2. , Dog/Animal Control officer, James Ames , met with the <br /> Board to request a- change in- the dog pickup fees .from <br /> the present $7. 00 to $l . o to+. riFng. dash ee in line with <br /> the other towns. <br /> Action: Motion by Selectman- Garland to .increase ' the <br /> dog, pickup fee from $7. 00 t $15 , 000 Seconded by Chairman <br /> O' Connell. Declared a vote. <br /> 3. Motion by - Selectman Garland to call a Special Town Meeting <br /> for Wednesday, September 26, 1979 , at :pop. . , at the <br /> Town Hall, Seconded by Chairman O' Connell. Declared a vote. <br /> Board. of Registrars notified, <br /> Assessor, Robert Graham, has verbally notified the Selectmen <br /> that he will be moving out of town. Town Counsel advises <br /> the Board that- this vacancy can be made by app of n tme nt. <br /> Chapter 41, Seciton 11, "If there is a vacancy in a Board <br /> consisting of two or more members , except a Board whose <br /> members have been elected by proportional representation <br /> under Chapter fifty-four A, the remaining members shall <br /> dive written notice thereof, within one month of said <br /> vacancy, to the Selectmen, who, with the remaining member or <br /> members of such Board, shall, after one week' s notice, fill <br /> such vacancy by roll call vote . ' <br /> Town Building Inspector, Harold Collins , is in the hospital <br /> under goIn"cr tests. Assistant Building Inspector, Roiland <br /> Wilson,. wi t be requested to investigate an alledged moving <br /> van which is parked 90 of the time at 91 Briar Patch :Road <br /> and owned by Peter weber, Such'parking is a violation <br /> . a residential area. <br />
