Office <br /> `12/5/79 Information <br /> Old Business : <br /> 1. Disciplinary action re James Ames . Please see Pol. <br /> Chief' s letter in Ames ' Folder. <br /> 2. At the last town meeting the Board indicated some <br /> sort of action would be taken re the structure of <br /> Town government. <br /> 3. The Police Chief is requesting the Board' s attention <br /> re two subjects : 1. Ptl. Aitchison should have the <br /> Town physician evaluate his physical capacity. (The loss <br /> of this man, along with other departmental personnel <br /> problems, is contributing to a deficiency in manpower. <br /> 2: A concern re Professional Liability Insurance due <br /> to the number of civil actions brought against the <br /> Towns via their Police Departments . The Chief has <br /> suggested that the Board review the International Assoc. of <br /> Chiefs of Police Insurance Program. Information in <br /> Old Business Folder. <br /> New Business : <br /> 1. Barbara Waters has taken the Sandwich request (return <br /> of items in the museum) , under her wing. <br /> 2. R. Kokmeyer was in the office 12/3/79 to request a <br /> copy of the charges. He also asked that his hearing <br /> of the 12th be an open hearing. <br /> 3. G. Trubiano has suggested that the area 011ie wants <br /> cleared to make room at the cemetery can be done by <br /> offering the wood to Town citizens . The only cost <br /> would be for a chipper and for Oillie as supervisor. <br /> a . Jim Ames has offered to set up his office in the Oldv�/ <br /> Town Hall, for Town Insurance purposes, and will go <br /> in and out of the building once or twice a day. <br /> 5 . Kevin, B. Sloane called and knows that you nicked <br /> up the painting at the Bank. She said the Bicentennial <br /> was voted by the Bic. Comte to be transferred to the <br /> School . <br />
