l_ 12/12/79 INFORMATION 1. Its been a breakdown week. The cesspool out back fell through. After searching high and few for the c s s oo l pians, which we had to purchase a- copy from Gaffney' s Assoc. , we find that it is the main cesspool that fell throuqh. Mr. Labute rill be checking to advise us of the extent of work that will be required. 2. Now, the museum alarm (Motion) is defunct. The alarm rings out trouble at the P. . This will- be repai ked at the tune of $100 . 00. On top of this', we are told that motion alarms only have a life of 5 - 6 years . . Now, the Town Hall alarm, The contacts work downstairs, but the alarm system does . - not operate for upstairs and the annex. This is being checked out. The P. D. has been alerted on both the Town Hall and the Museum. John, Jr. . lazing of the Fire Station. Mr./Peters wrote you a letter, it is in the bid folder on Kevin' s desk, stating the building has historical significance to there. They are requesting an assessment of the condition with an eye towards restoration. The State Historical Commission and the . .P,F,D. . have been called by the WITC, Inc. Interesting note: we understand, by the -questions -they' .have asked, that W. Oakley and Randy Peters will be among the bidders to raze the building. F .5 . In a se era e folder, the WITC, Inc. has submitted another application for Administrative support for Tribal Development in the amount of $40 , 000, of particular interest, there hope to acquire the old fire station to utilize as a community center. "Other areas of tribal interest include: formulating i, a land trust organization in efforts to relieve tribal and non {tribal persons of the tax burden of undeveloped property, This tool would provide a tax shelter for persons wishing to donate their property for conservation purposes" .
