l_ <br /> 12/12/79 INFORMATION <br /> 1. Its been a breakdown week. The cesspool out back fell <br /> through. After searching high and few for the c s s oo l <br /> pians, which we had to purchase a- copy from Gaffney' s <br /> Assoc. , we find that it is the main cesspool that fell throuqh. <br /> Mr. Labute rill be checking to advise us of the extent <br /> of work that will be required. <br /> 2. Now, the museum alarm (Motion) is defunct. The alarm <br /> rings out trouble at the P. . This will- be repai ked at <br /> the tune of $100 . 00. On top of this', we are told that <br /> motion alarms only have a life of 5 - 6 years . <br /> . Now, the Town Hall alarm, The contacts work downstairs, <br /> but the alarm system does . - not operate for upstairs and <br /> the annex. This is being checked out. The P. D. has been <br /> alerted on both the Town Hall and the Museum. <br /> John, Jr. <br /> . lazing of the Fire Station. Mr./Peters wrote you a letter, <br /> it is in the bid folder on Kevin' s desk, stating the <br /> building has historical significance to there. They are <br /> requesting an assessment of the condition with an eye <br /> towards restoration. The State Historical Commission <br /> and the . .P,F,D. . have been called by the WITC, Inc. <br /> Interesting note: we understand, by the -questions -they' .have <br /> asked, that W. Oakley and Randy Peters will be among the <br /> bidders to raze the building. F <br /> .5 . In a se era e folder, the WITC, Inc. has submitted another <br /> application for Administrative support for Tribal Development <br /> in the amount of $40 , 000, of particular interest, there hope <br /> to acquire the old fire station to utilize as a community <br /> center. <br /> "Other areas of tribal interest include: formulating <br /> i, a land trust organization in efforts to relieve tribal <br /> and non {tribal persons of the tax burden of undeveloped <br /> property, This tool would provide a tax shelter for <br /> persons wishing to donate their property for conservation <br /> purposes" . A copy has been forwarded to Town Counsel. <br /> . Chet, January 13th is open house for Police and Fire. Is <br /> there anything you wish done? <br />
