Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 8, 1994 <br /> School Department.- <br /> Joint <br /> epartment.Joint Meeting scheduled on'Thursday, March 10, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Middle School Library to discuss the budget of the School Department. <br /> Cape Cod Tech: <br /> Assessment figure correct. <br /> DPW Salary/Wage: <br /> N r.'Taylor will be consulted with regards to the correct grade and step <br /> of the Director of Public'works. <br /> DPW Expense: <br /> Out of state travel included in the DPW Expense budget; $2,000. <br /> DPW Capital: <br /> The sum o $113,000 will lease a loader for two years and allow for the <br /> purchase of a medium duty dump truck, a Ford bronco and Ford pick-up <br /> truck; 4 wheel drive. <br /> 'rashExpense: <br /> Increase as a result of SMASS and hazardous waste collection. <br /> Health Department Expense: <br /> Engineering funds related to the regional septage treatment facility aro <br /> placed on the ATM warrant; $10,000, <br /> Medical Insurance: <br /> Mr. Goggia recommended to prepare an RFP for medical insurance. He <br /> suggested the Board consult'Town Counsel with regards to the bid process. <br /> 'own Insurance: <br /> Board of Selectmen recommendation; $215,000. Figure reduced as a result <br /> of savings in Workmans Compensation. <br /> i <br /> Capital Improvement Program: <br /> Mr. Goggin indicated that the Town is in need of a Capital Improvement <br /> Progra.nm.
