Page 5 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> March 2 1, 1994 <br /> Planning Board Chairman re: Article for C-3 Transition <br /> Zoning District; <br /> Planning Board Chaimun Tony Ferragamo and member Tona watt <br /> were present to discuss a proposed Town Meeting Article to establish <br /> a C-3 Transition Zoning District. <br /> As noted by Mr. Ferragamo, ars article was submitted by Peter Sullivan <br /> f Outdoor Solutions, Inc. to create this type of district. <br /> The Planning Board is not opposed to the article placement on the'Town <br /> Meeting warrant indicated Mr. Ferragamo. The Planning Board has <br /> aged that the appropriate method of presenting the article is by petition <br /> initiated by parties of direct involvement. <br /> The issues involved with the article are quite complex indicated <br /> Mr. Ferragamo, The Planning Board is not comfortable with the <br /> definite position of the article. The overall benefit to the community <br /> and future problems have not yet been determined by the Planning <br /> Board noted lir-. Ferragamo. <br /> For clarification, Selectman Vaccaro indicated that the article was not <br /> submitted to the Board of Selectmen as a petition article. It was submitted <br /> to the Board of Selectmen by request of owner. <br /> Mr. Ferragamo recommended to place this type of topic to the Planning <br /> Boards immediate referral..He recommended to form a con rrrttee <br /> to review regulations of land use and zoning issues. <br /> Selectman Costa indicated that it is difficult to vote to place an article <br /> on the Town Meeting warrant when the Board of Selectmen cannot <br /> obtain a recommendation from the Planning Board or Zoning Board of <br /> Appeals. <br /> Selectman Bills recoended to establish a procedure to follow. There <br /> is a need to develop process for the regulatory guidebook. <br /> It is the consensus of the Board to form a sub-comx <br />
