Motion seconded by <br /> Selectman Vaccaro. OT : 3-1. Selectman Caffyn is in <br /> opposition. <br /> Selectman Caffyn requested further input from the Computer Consulting <br /> Committee. It was noted that the conurdttee has not fully reviewed the <br /> request for proposal. a <br /> Acceptance of Beach Concession' Bid: <br /> Communication was received from the Leisure Services Director dated <br /> June 6, 1994 regarding Beach Concessions. On Friday, June 3, 1994 <br /> two bids as received for beach concessions were opened at 9:00 a.m. <br /> The Leisure Services Department has recommended to award to Beach <br /> Concession to the high bid as submitted by BCB Ice Cream to provide <br /> food services at the Town beaches this summer. <br /> David Turo of International on Cape Cod was present to request the Board's <br /> re-consideration of the concession ward. As noted by Mr. Turo, his bid <br /> of$2200 was $75 less than that of BCB Ice Cream. <br /> Mr. Turo has provided mobile concession to South Cape Beach, John's <br /> Pond Beach and Attaquin Park for fire years without complaint. <br /> Mr. whritenour indicated that BCB Ice Cream as the high bidder is qualified <br /> under the Chapter 30bid process. It was noted that the Board has the <br /> right to revoke a bid if the establishment does not perform to standards. <br /> In the future, Selectman Caffyn recommend to be more specific as to <br /> services desired at the beach areas. It was noted that there are no <br /> requirements regarding the number of vehicles monitoring the beach areas. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to award the Beach <br /> Concession Bid to BCB Ice Cream in the amount of $2,275 <br /> as recommended. Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br />
