Page 1 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> September 2 , 1994 <br /> Appointment of Full-Time Police Officer: <br /> Chief Frye was present recommending the Board appoint Holly � <br /> LeCierc as a full-time Police officer. Ms.Leclerc, a Mashpee <br /> resident, was recently appointed as a Special Police officer in <br /> iashpee. <br /> It was noted that the Personnel Board concurs with Chief Frye's <br /> recommendation to appoint Holly Leclerc as a full-time Police <br /> officer. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to appoint Holly <br /> Leclerc as a full-time Police officer as recommended. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> Ms. Leclerc was present to meet the Board of Selectmen. <br /> `firing Range Lighting: <br /> Chief Frye was present to request the Burd approve interior and <br /> exterior fighting at the Firing Range. The lighting intended for night <br /> time firing will also be used as a heating source during winter months. <br /> It was noted that the additional lighting as presented will be of no <br /> cost to the Torn. <br /> Chief Frye indicated that if night time firing disturbs the neighborhood, <br /> e will cease firing. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the Fire <br /> Range Lighting as requested. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> DARE Adventure 'Training Program: <br /> Tbree acres behind the Police Station are proposed to support the <br /> DARE Adventure Training Program indicated Chief Frye. The course <br /> to be funded by a DARE grant is anticipated to begin in the spring <br /> of 1995. With the Boards approval, Chief Frye indicated he will <br /> solicit bids for the constr etion of the course. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to approve the DARE <br /> Adventure 'graining Program as outlined. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Caffyn. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br />
