Three cameras cover the <br /> Committee fully, and the fourth covers a designated area for speakers <br /> from the audience. <br /> Selectman Caffyn suggested to begin with the one camera option <br /> to give the citizens, in particular the seniors an opportunity to review <br /> the Selectmen's Meetings on cable television. <br /> It is important to televise Selectmen's meetings so more people can <br /> become informed about the issues discussed by the Board indicated <br /> Selectman Caffyn. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro indicated that he cues not believe the one camera <br /> option would provide adequate coverage for the Selectmen's Meetings. <br /> If vire are going to do it, vire ought to do it right stated Selectman <br /> Vaccaro.- <br /> The architect hired to conduct the feasibility study of the Town Hall <br /> renovation project should consider plans for televising the Selectmen's <br /> Meetings recommended Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Costa to place the subject o <br /> Televising Selectmen's Meetings on hold at this time. <br /> Plans to televise meetings will be incorporated into the <br /> design plans for the Town Hall facility. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> VOTE: -1. Selectman Caffyn in opposition. <br /> Police Department s Administrative Assistant: <br /> Notion made by Selectman Caffyn to place the above <br /> discussion on the Board's agenda. Motion seconded <br /> by Selectman Costa. VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> With the Administrative Assistant to the Police Department retiring <br /> on January 1, 1995, Selectman Vaccaro recommender to fill the <br /> vacancy at this time. <br /> It was noted that Chief Frye will also be retiring on January 1, 1995. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro recommended to employ an Administrative <br /> Secretary to fill the vacancy. The qualifications are very much the <br /> same, Selectman Vaccaro indicated that it is imperative to train a new <br /> employee at a cost savings to learn the position, <br />
