David Southworth. <br /> Selectman Vaccaro absent at this time. <br /> lxeresin the rule of necessity, Selectman Mills indicated that she will <br /> remain for the Willowbend water Issue discussion until Selectman Vaccaro <br /> arrives for the purpose of maintaining a quorum. <br /> Mr. David Southworth, Managing Director of Willowbend and IVIS. Peggy <br /> Panto r, Senior Environmental Scientist of R.H. Cole Associates were <br /> present to discuss the current water issues at the Willowbend Country Club. <br /> IVIS. Fantozzi presented an irrigation well fact sheet relative to the <br /> Willowbend well permitting history, water conservation plan components, <br /> ongoing monitoring program, and areas of concern being actively studied <br /> to date for the Board's review. <br /> As noted by Ms. Fantozzi, the well was originally permitted as a drinking <br /> water supply well with a pumping rate of 1.0 million gallons per day. <br /> Effective August 3L, 1992, the well was changed to an irrigation well <br /> t a rate of.43 million gallons per day maximum withdrawal for 244 days. <br /> The average daily withdrawal is .27 million gallons per day between April <br /> through November. The perrrntnng requires a monitoring plan to assess <br /> the impact withdrawal on the Santuit River noted Nis. Fantozzi, A water <br /> conservation plan is also required. <br /> The 1993-1994 monitoring plan meets and exceeds DEP permit require- <br /> ments indicated Ms. Fantozzi. It was noted that there is no valid data <br /> available for the198 's to make comparison. We are currently collecting <br /> data to male comparison with regards to this concern noted Ms. Panto i. <br /> 6:48 p.m. Selectman Vaccaro present. <br /> Selectman Mills stepped down for the discussion. <br /> With regards to the Town of arnstable's p=icipation, Ms. Fantozzi <br /> indicated that the sun of$4,000 will be used to develop statistical <br /> comparison data to equate to the Santuit and Quashnet Rivers. <br />
