Justice Department will provide approximately ° the <br /> base salary for the two new Police officers over a three year period. <br /> The'Town of Mashpee is responsible for providing 25% of the base <br /> salary, overtime and other mange benefits during the three years, and <br /> continue full funding for the two p iffion after the three year grant ward. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to approve the <br /> recommendation of the Police Chief for two new Police <br /> officers. The Finance Committee will be consulted to seek <br /> the appropriation necessary for the two appointments with <br /> the full support of the Board of Selectmen. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Costa. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. <br /> Memo from the 'Town Clerk re: Resignation from the <br /> Library Trustee: <br /> Communication was received from Jane Labute,slated December 5, 1994 <br /> relative to the resignation of Ruth Stauffer from the Library'Trustees. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to accept the -resignation <br /> of Ruth Stauffer from the Library 'Trustees with regret. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Dini io. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 4-0. <br /> *Position to be advised. Joint meeting to fill the vacancy. <br /> Approval of Job Description - Administrative Assistant <br /> Police Department: <br /> Communication was received from the Personnel Board Chairman <br /> dated December 8, 1994 relative to the position description of the <br /> Administrative Assistant to the Police Department. <br /> It was noted thatqualified in-house candidates applied for the position but, <br /> none of the candidates ouid meet all the requirements for the positron. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro to change the position <br /> description to Administrative Secretary and re-advertise <br /> in-house for the position of Administrative Secretary to the <br /> Police Department. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Mills. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o, <br />
