COOMBS <br /> SCHOOL COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, MAY 26TH 2009 <br /> MAIN OFFICE CONFERENCE ROOM <br /> Members Present: Donna zaesk , Barbara Cotton, Deb Greene, Patti Denny, Dan <br /> 0'Neill, Kim Palmer, Liz Wilber <br /> The meeting was called to order at 3;30 <br /> No one was present for Open Forum <br /> April 28th, 2009 minutes were approved unanimously <br /> Monte Carlo Night was a big success. Barbara Cotton stated that it made about <br /> $8,600.00 after expenses. She also thanked the teachers and staff for their <br /> support. Ms. Zaeske complemented the P'T'O for a successful Monte Carlo Night. <br /> She said it was a lot of fun for everyone. <br /> 0 Handbook Revisions: Ms. z eske stated that she hadn't received many comments. <br /> She will review the handbook again next year. There is not a lot of time for <br /> many changes. Our handbook is going to be set,up the same way as last year. <br /> There may be other charges next year. <br /> * Ms. Zaeske went over the Serine Flue Public Health Fact Sheets that went home <br /> to parents. <br /> Ms, zaeske discussed the membership for the School Council. She would like to <br /> see the current members stay through next year, this way we can start projects and <br /> see therm through. She will look into the bylaws for School Council. <br /> Liz Wilber was asked about the "MDS CLOTHES CLOSET" project. Ms. <br /> Zeske would like to meet with Liz and Patricia Nye before we make any <br /> decisions. We need to decide on a place to have the closet. Liz Wilber will look <br /> into children's consignment shops for "rules"' for collecting clothing.
