JR SP HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE <br /> MINUTES <br /> TUESDAY, JUNE 22r 1993 <br /> Present : Peter Dinizio, Stephen Greelish, B4111 Jones , <br /> Linda Murtha , Merry Sue Ahlgren, Janice Mills, <br /> Robert Mills , William Martiros , Joseph Polito <br /> Greg Taylor, Tom Fudala <br /> Absent ; Paul Griffin <br /> Meeting Called to order by chairman Dini io at <br /> 4; o8 p.m* <br /> APPROVAL of MINU'SE'S: JUNE 16 , 19930 <br /> ***The motion was made by Ms , Ah1 ren to approve the minutes of <br /> Tune 16 , 1993 as presented, The motion was seconded by <br /> Ms . Murtha, VOTE: Unanimous. 6-0. <br /> DISCUSSION of INTERVIEW PROCESS FOR APPRAISERS: <br /> 4: 50 p.m. Ualand & O 'Leary <br /> Pahl V. O 'Leary <br /> 5 : 15 p.m. Coleman & Sons Appraisal <br /> Martin Coleman <br /> 5 : 50 p.m. John D. Heaphy Appraisal Associates <br /> John U. Heaph <br /> : 10 p.m. Robert Mills present, 4; 13 p.m. Tom Fudala present . <br /> It is the agreement of the committee to allow Robert Mills <br /> to lead the discussion of the interview process with the above <br /> appraisal firms. <br /> Discussion followed with regards to the 750 seat Performing <br /> Arts center and 1500 acre Wildlife Refuge proposed on one of the <br /> sites under consideration for a high school . <br /> It was noted that Doug Storrs, vice-president of Field ' s <br /> Point Limited Partnership does not feel the proposal will <br /> compromise the wildlife reserve, <br /> Two Mashpee Selectmen were also noted to favor the concept <br /> of the move sharing the 96 acre site without conflict <br /> Mr. Fudala indicated that the proposed Fine Arts center <br /> project is contingent upon appropriating an est imate4 $11 mi 1 l i on• <br /> This concern will he discussed in detail with the Board of <br /> Selectmen. *It is the agreement of the committee to continue the <br /> site selection process of the two parcels selected by the Site <br /> Review committee. <br />
