Ho1mes Edwards: James Edwards, D i armu i d O'Connell and <br /> Stephen Stein from Lehrer, McGovern, Bovis, Inc,, <br /> Tony Ricci from ETA explained this joint effort between the two <br /> firms. Jim Edwards, Bob O'Day and M r. Ricci all went to high <br /> school together. Their careers have since crossed paths often . <br /> When they heard of this opportunity, they proposed to join <br /> forces . <br /> ETA has work all across the county and they usually collaborate <br /> with a local firm. ETA was established in 1968 and M r, Ricci has <br /> been with thea for 9 years, The firm started doing aoader i o <br /> Linstitution work - high schools and higher. Mr. Green explained <br /> in the early years of the firm they did education work , both <br /> public and private, in New England and then work in the Mid-west <br /> and New `fork City. They also branched into other architectural <br /> work, redevelopment of Fan ue i l Hall , hotels, performing arts <br /> centers. They were always imerested in creating places with <br /> community use. <br /> Their design philosophy i s to find architectural solutions out of <br /> the place, the program i t will serve and the people who will use <br /> i t+ They do not try to he " i n the latest fashion' Their <br /> earliest work still holds up today. <br /> Holmes and Edward, M r. James Edwards explained, was founded by <br /> his father who was an Architect, The firm is committed to design <br /> excellence and has a close relationship with their clients. They <br /> have done work for the archdiocese of Boston and Fall River , <br /> tonehill College, banking institutions around Boston . They <br /> treat all clients as equally important and are proud their <br /> clients, keep coming dank to their firm. <br /> M r. Ricci said they are proud to say they are still here , during <br /> these hard economic times and they have repeat and referral <br /> clients, <br /> They showed some slides of their past work, <br /> - Mt. Anthony High School , Dennington, VT. was close to <br /> Mashpee' s program. 1 , 00 students with expansion up to 1 , 500 * <br /> 1 <br />
