requirements of the students , Had sensitivity and imagination ,, Ike rated
them c 1 ose to the top of h i s 11 st t He checked references, both were good.
At the Rockport school , they are very well thought of. He received similar
references from Chatham.
Merry sue is a little nervous about them. They want to tell us what to do.
They commented about Dr . co l l ab ro making errors, without listening to an
explanation for those spaces . Their presentation was interesting but they
need to be researched.
Paul missed the presentation but they do have a good reputation in the
field , They seem to have said a lot of the right things but they picked
sensitive issues. They created a controversy at their first meeting . He is
also a little nervous about thea and thinks the Committee should do a lot
of homework.
Bill Dart i ros feels they are well worth looking into and doing site visits,
talking to people in their schools.
Joan said they are the only firm who has contact her, discussing possible
interior designs. she thinks they should be considered .
Joe said they were explaining how a program could be "massaged" to reduce
the size . They were doing creative things. They were the only f i rm to do
that in depth, They looked at interior mechanical and electrical systeas,
how they would be designed alongside the building. They housed a program.
He was impressed but they need to be researched .
Steve gives them high marks on targeting their presentation . Programming is
their expertise and from what they shoved us we should probably l i sten.
They should defiantly be on our second round list.
Michael said they were his top choice, because of the way they presented
the education program. They know what the Mate will allow, I t seems they
would work with us to get the most for our money, highest value for the
space . They have good support for high tech .
Peter said they are a F l ansburgh clone. David Finney was very aggressive
in getting this pilo 1 1 f tme1 1 t r Peter thought they weregood. They were the
last firm interviewed, leaving the biggest impression?
The Committee went around the table giving their top 4 choices .
Bill Jones : SMMA, Design Partnership , Keyes, DPA
Merry Sue: Keyes, DFA, SMMA, DP
Janice: s axle
Paul : same
Bill M . .
