The colors cannot be chosen until the contractor is on card . erry Sue said the furniture subcommittee would like the first go around on olors. OAD ISSUES teve said the issues are the bikeway , improvements to the intersection , Ignal and turning lanes , The cape cod commission will runt a commitment rom the town and we need to coordinate that with DPW. The intersection hof ld Barnstable Rd and 1 1 ) needs a signal but the funds are not available n this budget; there needs to be a game plan . ireg Taylor said the full design of that intersection has not been done . HB estimated if would cost $440 , 000 for the final project. DPW has no acne y allocated for that , He does not know what the commission will accept or a commitment* The Selectmen are committed to an 8 foot )ikewa /sidewalk along Rte 151 but it is not scheduled to be constructed at .his point. i ss i on hearing n stet attended the comm g and told them the Town would commit ro havi n traffic control at that intersection when school opens and lets )ut. )au1 said the EIR stated the Town will undertake widening of the road only it O 1 d Barnstable Road entrance to the school . The DPW has a budget, they get chapter 90 funds and - intersection should d be put in the mi of the capital improvement �h� � me rs ands . red p 0 recently resented to the Selectmen the option of bonding � , 000 of improvements for the Town but this intersection was not Mentioned . le has to start to shift the focus away fora the Building Committee and -,owards the Selectmen . This is a responsibility the Selectmen and DPW have ,o start assuming . 1
