MASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE MINUTES TUESDAY, JANUARY 17 , 1995 TOWN HALL Members Present: Pau 1 Griffin , Merry Sue Ah Iren , Janice Mi1l , Peter Di nl' i"o, Bill Marti ro , Joe Polito, Steve Greet i h Also Pre ent; Joel Seeley , Ian Aitchison, D r. De ou ra, Jeff Whale from Childs Consulting Meeting convened at 4: 08 p.m. MINUTES Merry Sue made a motion to accept the minutes of January 9th . Joe seconded the motion . '` �f Janice noted of� p9 . 3 it says Mike P i et r i called CCE i 4 He d i d contact other people about CCP but did not call them directly , All members were in favor of motion to accept minutes as amended 7- 0** INVOICES The hotel bill for Merry Sue and Janice at the New Orleans conference and a $250 . 00 advance,, Peter made a motion to approve the request for $917 . 10 hotel expenses and $500 , 00 cash advance , Joe seconded the motion . All members were 1'n favor 7- . An invoice from SMMA for $3 , 211 . 01 for professional e ry i s related to the EIP. Merry Sue made a motion to approve for payment the SMMA invoice for , 1 1 , 01 . Janice se onded the motion . All members were in favor 7-0 COMMITTEE DISCUSSION Bill brought an 1993 Enterprise article to the attention of the Committee. The Selectmen at that time urged the Committee to slow down. He feels It is a very tight chedu l e and the Committee is rushing . Peter asked Ian 1'f the Committee has made any big mistakes that need to be corrected? Ian said provided the process is completed before it goes to bid , the project i on track . Paul is not w i l l l' g to debate this again. Peter said the Selectmen have placed their confidence in this Committee . Paul received a fax from Phil Po i n l l i . He is proceeding with the plans , as submitted to the Committee last week. If the Committee has any issues wall/petition changes W bring them up right now. Merry Sue said the plan have been submitted with furniture on them and it all seems to fit; it is able to do what we plan fo r it. She has no iiwall +' issues. Joe asked about the small engine area, has the fire rating been addressed with Bill Hauck? Joel said at this point, it can be whatever the code determines it has to 1
