',IASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES TUESDAY, JULY 25 , 1990 TOWN HAIL Members Present : Bill Martiros , Merry Sue Ahlgren, Janice Mills , Joe Polito , Steve Greelish , Patel Griffin , Peter Dinizio Also Present : Tom Wren, Jim Byrne , Joel Seeley, Ed Frenette , Dr . Lincoln DeMoura Meeting convened at 4 : 12 p. m. OLD BUSINESS South Shore elevator could not come to terms with Stone . Town Counsel sent a certified letter giving them 48 hours to sign a contract or the town would notify the bond company. Mr . Barthelmus notified the Committee that a contract was signed yesterday. Cha.rti�,ell. contract : Paul explained he an Ian have come to an agreement on the contract; fee . He will try to pet it to the Selectmen at their next meeting for their approval . FEE ACCOUNTS ** Paul made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for payment $14 , 000 for Chartwell for Project Management and Clerk of the Works services , subject to their contract being signed . Merry Sue seconded the motion. All members were in favor 6-0 . ALARA SYSTEM ,Tim Byrne presented a proposal to the Committee regarding the installation of an alarm system at the trailers at the site . The cost is for all the trailers so Stone will split the cost . Jim said their real fear is vandalism to all the paper�%-ork stored there . * Paul made a motion to forward to Selectmen for their approval an addition to Stone ' s contract for $1 , 028 for an alarm system in the Clerk of the Works trailer . Merry Sue seconded the motion. Joe asked if security was included already in Stone ' s contract? Patil said it is not . They must provide the trailers and equipment- ( fax , copier , etc . ) but not security . Stone has insurance for the trailer and equipment but he is more concerned about the records , drawings etc . They are very valuable . Steve Greeli.sh gave Jim the name of another local company . Jim will caul them to see if they can meet this price . I
