They will concurrently build the academic <br /> wings ( Seg . i & 4 ) <br /> They are filing for a propane license so they can store in excess of 2 , 000 <br /> gallons on the site , for heating purposes# to provide heat to the academic <br /> wings and work productively all winter. They feel confident the end date <br /> gill be ret <br /> Paul said there are some very positive parts to the job, the interior* subs <br /> are grog re s s i ng 4 There are a. few shop drawings holding up some areas @, <br /> The biggest concern is the steel , it is holding up multiple things . Alan <br /> has made good progress but it is frustrating that certain things cannot be <br /> resolved. He is especially concerned with the winter conditions coming . <br /> Paul has expressed his concerns to Stone at a meeting they had today. <br /> ROOFING: there are some problems with the roof installation, 1 segment has <br /> bubbles and there ,is concern whether it is going down per specs, yet it is <br /> progressing. <br /> Paul will write another letter to the Selectmen asking them to reconsider a <br /> roofing inspector. He will go on record that he believes there will be <br /> problems with the roof installation but he will not continue to fight with <br /> t hem <br /> Bill asked what the problems are with the roof? <br /> Paul said it is not supposed to bubble . Jiro gust noticed today that a <br /> section does not seem to be per spec. <br /> Peter said at present , theme are 3 people inspecting roof installa.tlont <br /> clerk, architect and manufacturer. <br /> Alan Scott spoke with the roof manufacturer about technical support and <br /> they admitted to not having technical support at the site . He will follow <br /> up to get that technical person here* <br /> Jim notified the architect today that it is not 'being installed per spec ,. <br /> Peter asked if they had to spend. $40 , 000 for inspection services` Greg <br /> Taylor told the Selectmen he could do it for $5 , 000 . <br /> Paul wouldn't waste the money doing anything less * Maybe the Selectmen <br /> 2 <br />
