i MASHPIEE HIGH SCHOOL BIDING COMAMTEE TUESDAY,FEBRUARY 257 1997 HIGH SCHOOL Present: Meny Sue Ahlgren,Joe Polito,Peter Dinizio, Bill Il artiros, Paul Griffin, Joel Seeley, Tom wren,Jinn Byrne, John Williams Meeting convened at 4:17 p.m. MINUTES Merry Sue made a motion to accept the minutes of Febnmry 5, 1997. Joe seconded the notion. All members were in favor -0 DEDICATION CEREMONY Merry Sue distributed a copy of the invitation that will be sent out for the dedication ceremony on April 13". There will be a sketch.of the building on the front, drawn b the art teacher. Dr. DeMoura has the invitation list, if members think of anyone who should be added to it. The dedication is open tot he entire community,the invitation will be published in the Enterprise, Cape Cod Times and Messenger. It will be a short dedication program, then there will be tours of the building. They are hoping to have students in the rooms to show off some of the equipment. The Committee talked about having pictures on display of how the building progressed. Mike Pietrowski said he was asked to put together a slide presentation when the other schools had dedication ceremonies, should he do that for the high school? Merry Sue will ask Dr. D eMo ura Paul suggested running a video presentation on the TV's in the lobby. The ceremony will be held in the auditorium, with the cafeteria available for overflow. FF &E Technology Mike Kirwin was present to discuss the status of technology. Edgestar is substantially complete, the school agrees. He will write a formal letter this week. whicom is also substantially complete and the school agrees. Mahone,the network vendor, is substantially complete and the school agrees. There is one piece of network management software outstanding which they were holding off until the network administrator was hired. Today the school asked that it be delivered so they are now substantially complete. John Williams said they are interviewing the 3 finalists for the network administrator position and that decision could be made by this Friday. National Telecom has performed all but three tasks. John Williams said there is still the issue of the wireless phone. Nfi e Kien said if they don't have one by Feb. 28th,they will be asked to provide a credit to the contract. Paul asked Mike to review the specs. If it is a performance spec, they will have to perform, no .atter how long it takes.
