This would be <br /> savings of$220,000. <br /> S he stated that there is a fixed cost for F'Y 10 and FY 11, unless here is a <br /> significant change, which could prompt a price increase. <br /> Mrs. Grady clarified that the significant changes specifically mention a 25% <br /> increase in fuel. She also stated that the Collaborative's transportation center is <br /> open from 5:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. <br /> Mrs. Grady asked the audience if anyone would life to present. <br /> Mr. Purlani spoke against the Collaborative. He stated that the Committee <br /> should follow up on the following: <br /> Asking Mashpee parents about past experiences with the Collaborative <br /> Pick-up and driving schedules <br /> Extra charges for snowy or rainy days <br /> Insurance and deductibles <br /> Mashpee budget including charges for cell phones <br /> SORI cheeps <br /> There was discussion and in response the Committee explained that they have <br /> spoken to parents. They have discussed driving schedules with the Collaborative, <br /> which will be in accordance with the law. There is a one million dollar insurance <br /> polio included in the proposed contract with the deductible paid by the <br /> Collaborative, and all Collaborative drivers are S O I and CORI checked. <br /> Mrs.. Patricia Awntonellis asked the Committee to postpone the vote, but stated if <br /> the vote happened then to have the Committee meet with S PAC, and have van <br /> drivers brought on to the Collaborative contract. <br /> Mrs. Meredith Chadwick spoke against the Collaborative. She stated concerns <br /> with. <br /> Not transporting on time <br /> Communication issues <br /> Mrs. Heather Black spoke in opposition to using the Collaborative.
