Approval of Minutes <br /> e <br /> Mrs. Trills made a motion, seconded by Mr. Marcelli to accept the minutes of <br /> 4116/08. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> VII. Business Administrators Report <br /> .1 FY09 Budget Update- There is 4.1 million remaining in the FY08 budget. <br /> 7.2 Status of Grants- M . Lugo explained that there are currently 15 grants. <br /> .2 Circuit Breaker- $179,000 has been received to date. <br /> 7.2 Medicaid- $391,000 has been received to date. <br /> 7.2 Revolving Balances- IIs. Lugo reviewed the current balances. <br /> 7.2 Lunch program- Ms. Lugo reviewed the food service statement for April. <br /> There was more discussion about the Collaborative. lir. Bailey suggested <br /> speaking to the Collaborative about hiring the Mashpee van drivers and suggested <br /> that perhaps a financial incentive could bib offered to hire M shpee drivers. <br /> 7. Budget Transfers <br /> Transfer## 0 -0508-1 <br /> Mrs. Bills made a motion, seconded by Mr. Bailey to approve budget transfer <br /> #08-0508-1 <br /> VOTE: unanimous <br /> Transfer 0 -0508-1 <br /> Mrs. Mills made motion, seconded by Mr. Bailey to approve budget transfer#08- <br /> 0508-18. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> VIII, Restructuring <br /> Ms. Lugo stated that the Restructuring committee recommends the following <br /> scenario: <br /> Grades 7&8 will remain at Ilashpee High. School with the current distinction o <br /> Irla.shpee Middle School, as recorded with the Department of Education with <br /> more focus on academic, social, and behavioral needs of-these students. There <br /> remains a separate principal for 7& 8 graders allowing the 7&8 grade continuing <br /> access to all extra curricular activities clubs,athletics, and any other services <br /> currently available to thein, and no other grades or schools will be affected by <br /> is. <br /> Finance Meeting 5/21/08 5 <br />
