Teachers Access to Buildings 'n August <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw explained that due to the summer cleaning schedule, Kenneth C. Coombs <br /> School staff will not be able to get back into the building until August 25th. In lieu of <br /> this date, the Coombs School will be open on Saturday and Sunday, August 23rd and <br /> 24th to provide more opportunities for teachers who want to work in their classrooms. <br /> The Quashnet School, Middle School, and High School will be open as of August 18th <br /> for staff. <br /> VII. Update on Fencing for Fields <br /> IVIS. Lugo explained that Mr. Tripp will put up a post rail fence on the Coombs and <br /> Quashnet fields to prevent people from driving and parking on the fields. The cost is <br /> $4800, and the maintenance crew will install it. <br /> V111. M11A Certifleate of Completion <br /> IVIS. Lugo explained that the special education van drivers took a defensive-driving course <br /> in February. Certificates mpl do , were issued to all drivers that took the course. <br /> This gives the ton a discount on insurance. <br /> 1XI other <br /> Mrs. Bradshaw stated that for the co-curricula stipends for Mahpee Middle School, band <br /> and chorus were left off the original list. She requested to approve a stipend for band and <br /> chorus for $664 each. <br /> Mrs. Mills made a motion, seconded by Mrs. Stanley to approve the stipend for band and <br /> chorus. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous <br /> Ms. Lugo discussed that due to the outsourcing of the vans, an interoffice mail delivery <br /> person is needed. various ideas were discussed.
