Community Involvement with Senior/Retired Community <br /> • Invite Seniors to the Flag Day performance in June <br /> • Invite Seniors to the dress rehearsal <br /> • Mrs. Penney will call to see if they will come to the school or <br /> will we bring the show to them <br /> • It was suggested that classrooms rotate writing letters, creating <br /> cards or decorations for the local nursing home. <br /> • It was suggested that Danielle Ripa bring small groups of <br /> students to the Senior Center to sing. <br /> 2. PEP Grant <br /> • Assessments will be next week <br /> • Sparks Curriculum for physical education and health <br /> • Play works training will be in the fall of 2012 <br /> • It is hopeful that the climbing wall will be here for the end of <br /> the year <br /> • Students are enjoying wearing the pedometers and discovering <br /> that the more steps that they take, the better it is for them <br /> • It was mentioned that Stop and Shop has a free nutrition <br /> program for Grade One <br /> 0 <br />
