Review Uniform Student Dress parent information/sharing meeting that was <br /> held on Tuesday, January 31st. <br /> We discussed the parent meeting and also the School Committee's discussion at <br /> them 2/1/12 meeting relative to uniform student dress at Quashnet. <br /> 2. Decide on nett steps to be taken---Uniform Student Dress <br /> ■ We will not be taking a vote on uniform student dress for Quashnet students. <br /> ■ We reviewed in detail the"Dress and Personal Appearance" section of our <br /> 2011-2012 Quashnet School Parent/Student handbook. <br /> ■ We made revisions to the content <br /> We added specific consequences for violating the guidelines. <br /> ■ A draft of recommended changes is attached. <br /> ■ The draft will be emailed to Council members for their review and further <br /> input. <br /> ■ The draft will also be provided to staff for their input. <br /> ■ The draft will be included in an upcoming newsletter and will also be sent <br /> home with each student—to obtain input from our families. <br /> ■ School Committee approval will be sought—together with other handbook <br /> changes. <br /> 3.
