Town ofMashpe-Board of Selectmen Executive Session Meeting Minutes-Mashpee Town Hall June 27,2008— :00 p.m. Members Present: Terrie Cool, John Cahalane,Chuckle Green, Wayne Taylor Members Absent: Don Myers Others Present: Joyce Mason, Town Manager; Rene' J. Read, Asst. Town Manager; Patrick Costello, Esq. I CALIF TO ORDER. Ch. Cahalane called the meeting to order at 2;09 p.m. II DISCUSSION PERTAINING To FINALIZING ST.VINCENT'S PROPERTY LAND TANG Mr. Costello noted that he had received a revised agreement which contained some minor changes from the' previous version forwarded to the Board the day before. Mr. Costello provided a general overview of the entire process including the recording at the registry of deeds. MOTION was made by Mr. Taylor, and SECONDED by Mr. Green to finalize the property St. Vincent's property land taking. Ch. Cahalane called fora vote: Cook, Taylor, Green and Cahalane voted "aye" in favor of the motion; motion carried. Mr. Costello explained that the documents would be recorded on Monday at f-00 p.m. The Board of Selectmen reached a consensus to have a title search performed on all of the properties having to do with this transaction. Ch. Cahalane signed the purchase and Sale agreement and IIs. Mason gave the check to Mr. Costello. The members of the Board of Selectmen signed the related warrant and you her, acceptance ofdeed instrument and order of taking. Mr. Costello notarized the documents as needed. There was no further discussion on the matter. IH DISCUSSION PERTAINING TO ZONING BOARD GP APPEALS MENMERSIDP The Board reviewed a memo to Ch. Cahalane from Ms. Mason dated June 25, 2008, regarding Zoning Board of Appeals membership. A MOTION was made by Mr. Taylor, and SECONDED by Ms. -Cook to re-appoint Robert Nelson as a full-time member with an expiration date of June 30,20 .1. Ch. Cahalane called for a vote: Cook, 'Taylor, Green and Cahalane voted "aye" in favor of the motion; motion carried. s A.MOTION was made by Mr. Taylor, and SECONDED by Ms. Cook to change the appointment of Zella Elizenberry to an associate member with an expiration of June 30, 2009, and appoint John Dorsey as a full-time member to fill the vacancy created by Ms-. Elizenberry's change in appointment with an expiration of June 30,2010. Ch. Cahalane called for a vote: Cook, Taylor, Green and Cahalane voted `aye" in favor of the motion; motion carried. There was no further discussion on the natter.
