9 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> June 1. 2009 <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> Recommendation for Bid Extensions—Annual Bids—DEW: <br /> Catherine Laurent, Director of Public Works was in attendance to <br /> recommend the Selectmen award the list f annual contracts as identified <br /> in coir-nucation dated May 2 , 2009. The bids are noted to be the <br /> second year of a two-year bid for FY2010. The bids would therefore be <br /> re-bid for FY2011. The bid re on urnend tions are enclosed in the official <br /> minutes for public record. <br /> Lotion made by Selectman Cook to approve the recommended <br /> extension of annual contracts for FYIO as submitted. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> Recommendation for Bid Acceptance—manual Bids�DPW: <br /> eomer� tlo o --- -- <br /> Correspondence was received from the DPW Director dated May 2 , 2009 <br /> recommending the Selectmen award the contracts for the annual bids. The <br /> recommendation is for a one-year contract for FYI with an option to <br /> renew for FYI 1. <br /> With respect to paving, and work associated to paving, the low bidder was <br /> disqualified. As a result,the second love bidder was selected. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cook to accept the annual bids for FIo <br /> with an option to renew for FY11 as submitted. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. 5-0. <br /> The bid recommendation as approved is contained in the official minutes. <br />
