3 Board of Selectmen Minutes .dune L 2009 APPOINTMENTS AND HEARINGS: Public Comment: Peter white urged the residents of the Town of Mashpee to attend the Selectmen's meetings. Mr. white indicated the Selectmen are expected t review the annual reappointments on tonight's agenda. Mr. white expressed interest in serving on the Town's Affordable Housing Cottee. 6:38 p.m. Selectrnan Myers present. i With reference to the agenda topic regarding the-potential merger of the Water District and Sewer Commission,Mr. white recommended to maintain a separation of the entities. In his opinion, it would be far worse than mixing apples and oranges. With regards to the Green Communities Act, Mr. ate urged the Town to form a comnttee a ;reneable energy is a great resource for the Town. Mr. white also made co-i-i ient regarding the Town's Energy Conunittee and asked to attend a future meeting to offer his valuable experience. Public Hearin —mash ee Commons Annual EnterWnment License: The Board of Selectmen opened the Public Hearing on the application of Mashpee Commons Lu" nited Partnership to provide enterWrumenfto the public from June 2,2009 through December 31, 2009. Entertainment is to be held at Mashpee Commons, Mashpee. The Hearing notice was read aloud into the record. Lissa Daly rep resenting Mashpee Commons LP was in attendance to'discuss the annual entertainment license request with members of the Board of Selectmen and interested public. Additional dates not previously listed include; the Seaside Le haus on September 12'h,, Fall all Sidewalk Sale on October 2nd through the 4 th,the annual Oktoberfest on October 10 th, the Holiday Kick-Off on November 27thand the Mashpee Christmas Parade scheduled to be held on December 12, 2009, The additional dates as disclosed were read aloud into the public record.
