I <br /> 6 <br /> Board of Selectmen <br /> Minutes <br /> July 6, 2009 <br /> Review& Execution of Contract—Asher's Path Landfill—Weston & <br /> Su: <br /> The Ton was in receipt of a scope and budget for Landfill Environmental <br /> Monitoring services during fiscal year 2010 for the sher's Path Landfill <br /> dated June 10, 2009. Monitoring services are estimated to cost $15,150. <br /> The price quotation is equal to last year's environmental monitoring <br /> proposal. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Cook to approve and execute the contract <br /> between the Town of Mashpee and Weston & Sampson for the <br /> hr's Path Landfill. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Cahalane. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous, -o. <br /> Review & Execution—Land Disposition Agreement—Habitat for <br /> Humanity_ <br /> Correspondence was received from Habitat for Humanity dated June 22, <br /> 2009 relative to the development and construction of gree affordable <br /> homes in the Town of Mashpee located at 67 Pox Hill load, 19 Lakewood <br /> vood <br /> Drive and — Tirnberine Drive. <br /> Town Meeting action in May of 2008 authorized the Town to enter into <br /> agreement with a non-profit builder of affordable housing. Habitat for <br /> Humanity was the selected developer. As part of the site acquisition and <br /> pre-permitting process a Land Disposition Agreement was presented to the <br /> Selectmen for review and execution. Habitat has also requested the <br /> Selectmen waive all Town fees associated to the project. <br /> Notion made by Selectman Cahalane to approve and execute the <br /> Land Disposition Agreement as presented and waive all Town fees in <br /> normal process for the affordable Mashpee hones. <br /> Motion seconded by Selectman Taylor. <br /> VOTE: Unanimous. -o. % <br /> Habitat for Humanity representative Donald Dickinson indicated the <br /> housing would be counted within the Town's subsidized housing <br /> inventory. To date,, twelve Habitat for Humanity homes have been built in <br /> the Town of Mashpee. The new homes when built will increase the <br /> inventory to fifteen, <br /> i <br />
