The area is very congested with river traffic. 111Ir. Sanchez noted <br /> there is a sandbar in the rm* dle and with the shellfish grant,there is bound to be <br /> an accident. As a resident,he is opposed to the proposal. <br /> Robin Glasior, a legal advisor for the Kral group was iii attendance to voice <br /> objection on behalf ofthe Draft's of 16 and 24 Poppone set Island Road and also <br /> for Dr. Barry and Judy Miller on 8 Popponesset Island Road as well as the <br /> weingerof 's on 141 Daniel's Island Road. <br /> Dr. Jacqueline Fields was present on behalf of her family,barren and Kim Fields <br /> who were unable to attend tonight's hearing. Dr. Fields read a memo from her <br /> son strongly objecting to the commercial :hellish fanning operation as this type <br /> of commercial venture lies within a residential area. Mr. Fields has small <br /> children,and is concerned with the value of his property. It is a very natural and <br /> unspoiled area, and the cages exposed to each low tide would dm* m"r sh property <br /> values. Mr. Fields requested the Town deny the application as real estate taxes in <br /> this area are significant. <br /> Michael Ronhock of 82 Sunset Circle voiced his support of any aquaculture in the <br /> `own of Mashpee. lir. Ronhock explained that it is.good for the bays,and <br /> commercial shellfishing is positive. <br /> Gordon Vanderbrug of 181 Daniel's Island Road cited opposition as it relates t <br /> noise and visual impact.
